Mitchell Makes It To The Big East

Casey Mitchell is one of the top junior college scorers in the country. The Panhandle Conference player of the year decided on Monday that he'll be a Big East player.

Bob Huggins' West Virginia program, on Monday, received a commitment from the Panhandle Conference player of the year. Chipola Junior College wing scorer Casey Mitchell, is taking his 21 point per game average to Morgantown.

"He's really, really good," coach Greg Heiar told Scout.com. "They've got the playing time, exposure and a good league to go with Coach Huggs."

Mitchell, since his days as a high schooler from Georgia, has always carried the reputation of being able to get buckets.

Mitchell joins a strong class that includes wing Dalton Pepper and centers Dan Jennings and Deniz Kilicli.
