Dennis Asks For Release; May Give UK A Look

The recruiting whirlwind continues. Nolan Dennis is seeking a release from Memphis and already has a school in mind.

Nolan Dennis has asked for his released. According to Dennis' mother, Carol, the 6-foot-5 wing won't be a Memphis Tiger.

"We asked for it and we are anticipating it to be sent in the next couple of days," Carol Dennis said. "It takes a couple of days for them to send it."

Dennis, a standout at Richland Hills (Tex.) Richland, doesn't have a list of schools available at this time, but there is one school in the picture.

"We just want people to know that we are not going to attend Memphis because we were going to attend Memphis because of Calipari," Carol Dennis said. "So we are going to wait and see what we are going to do from here."

"We have had different offers," she continued. "But I think Nolan wants to go to Kentucky, but I'm not for sure, but I know he's not going to go to Memphis. That is a definite."

Dennis, a four-star prospect, will participate in the Kentucky Derby Festival Classic this weekend and according to his mother has hopes of taking a visit to Kentucky's campus during the trip.
