Latham Starts Process Over

Jordan Latham thought he knew where he was headed for college. But a coaching change put a damper in his plans. He's now back on the market.

Jordan Latham was set to play his college basketball at Xavier, but with Sean Miller now coaching at Arizona, the 6-foot-9, 210-pound power forward has opted to decommit from the Musketeers.

"Right now I'm just trying to get healthy right now with my knee and everything," Latham said. "I've talked to my father and we are going to open my recruitment back up."

Latham, a product of Baltimore (Md.) City College, was forced to the sideline during the Boo Williams Invitational. The week prior he sprained his knee and likely won't be back until Memorial Day.

Since opening up his recruitment he's already heard from like Texas, Oregon State, Penn State, George Mason and Maryland. Prior to making his original commitment Richmond, Oregon State and Penn State had all offered.

As far as Xavier goes, Latham, a four-star prospect, isn't sure if he will give them another look or not.

"I might reconsider them, but I don't really know right now," he said.

Latham had a solid junior season, as he led Baltimore City College to a state championship and a 22-6 record.
