Dayton Scores Forward

Ralph Hill was at the Dayton-Xavier game this season and he'd seen enough. On Wednesday, the forward from Ohio formalized his relationship with Dayton.

Brian Gregory's Dayton Flyers are the owners of a forward commitment. Westerville (Ohio) North forward Ralph Hill made his choice.

"He's announced that he's going to attend the University of Dayton," Westerville North coach Kevin Thuman told Scout.com.

"He's a 6-foot-6 perimeter player. He's very athletic, runs the floor well and is explosive around the basket."

Hill was 24-for-81 from behind the arc and led his team in scoring (19.0), rebounding (9.1) and shot blocking (3.1). "He's an athletic perimeter player."

Akron and Dayton were the final two schools for the first-team all-league player. Hill was also an honorable mention all-district selection.

In terms of Dayton, Coach Gregory and Jon Borovich, they were over here in the fall. They came to several games, opens gyms and Ralph felt extremely comfortable with the staff and the coaching
