Top SG Wide Open
Bryce Taylor, 6-3 JR SG North Hollywood (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake, ranks among the elite players at his position in the west. A great scorer, Taylor is adept at getting points from a variety of spots on the court. He'll knock down threes with regularity, but he can also put it on the floor or pull up for a mid range shot. We spoke with Taylor Monday night and he told us that he hasn't yet put together a list of schools. "I'm looking at schools in the Pac-10, SEC, Big Ten -- all over, pretty much," said Taylor. We asked which schools had been out to see him recently and Taylor said, "USC, UCLA, Arizona, Washington, Utah -- they've been to practices." Taylor went on to say that he corresponds by email with UCLA, San Diego St., Oregon and USC, among others. When questioned about the process by which he'll make his decision, Taylor said, "I'll just look for the best situation. I may want to leave the west, but I'll just have to see what it's like when I take trips. The weather, the campus -- I won't know until I take the trips." Taylor plans on taking some official visits in the spring and hopes to have a decision prior to his senior season.
