2010 Introduction: Kevin Mulloy

Kevin Mulloy, a junior power forward from Southern California, has interest from numerous West Coast programs and an offer from a WAC school...

Kevin Mulloy, 6-5 JR PF Oxnard (Calif.) High, is a skilled and fundamentally sound prospect with a very good feel for the game. While he's a bit undersized, he does have long arms and a number of positive attributes as a prospect.

I spoke with Mulloy recently and asked about the schools he's heard from to date.

"Portland, UC Santa Barbara and San Jose State are the ones I've been getting the most attention from," said Mulloy. "San Jose State has offered. I don't really have a leader – they're all pretty even right now."

In addition to those schools, Mulloy has received interest from UC Riverside, Penn, Yale, Santa Clara and Fresno State, among others.

I asked Mulloy what he is looking for in a school.

"I want to go to a school where I can possibly play right away," said Mulloy. "Also, I'm interested in a business major, so a school that is strong in that area. The location doesn't really matter to me."

Mulloy visited Fresno State and UC Santa Barbara last summer on unofficial visits.

When questioned about a time frame for his decision, Mulloy replied, "I'd like to decide before November."

Mulloy said he currently has a 3.0 GPA.
