Pac-10 School Tops King's List

Keala King, a versatile junior wing from Southern California, has a number of high major programs expressing interest in him...

Keala King, 6-5 JR SG Compton (Calif.) Dominguez, is a very talented lefty who can do a lot of things well. He's got good ball skills, he rebounds well for his position and he has the potential to be a very good defender.

I spoke with King recently and asked about the schools that have been in touch with him.

"Stanford, Oregon State, UCLA, USC, Arizona State, a little bit from Kentucky, Gonzaga and Cal," said King.

When I asked if any school stands out for him at the moment, King replied, "I like Stanford."

King talked a little about the issues he'll consider when choosing a school.

"The education is the big thing," said King. "I want to go into business administration."

King doesn't see himself making a decision in the near future.

"I want to decide after the summer," said King.

King said he has a 3.8 GPA.
