2010 Introduction: Thomas Feeney

Thomas Feeney doesn't get seen much being all the way up in Alaska, but he's one of the more intriguing point guard prospects in the class of 2010...

Thomas Feeney, 6-1 JR PG Anchorage (Alaska) West, is a talented prospect with the ability to score and create for his teammates. He figures to draw plenty of attention from college coaches in the coming months.

I spoke with Feeney recently and he gave me a list of schools that have been in contact with him.

"Cal, Nevada, San Diego, Fresno State, UC Santa Barbara, Penn, Portland State, Washington State, Portland and Oregon State," said Feeney.

When I asked if any school stands out for him at this time, Feeney replied, "Cal, Oregon State and Washington State would be at the top of the list."

I asked Feeney what he is looking for in a school.

"Someplace where I can play point guard and where I can play my freshman year," said Feeney. "I'd like to have a big man I can work with. Location is not really an issue."

Feeney visited Wisconsin on an unofficial visit during his sophomore year, but has yet to take any other visits.

I asked him when he plans on picking a school.

"I'd like to get it done before my senior year," said Feeney.

Feeney said he currently has a 2.5 GPA.
