"I think I hit my spurt and I committed too fast," Martin said. "I wanted to see what else I can get. I thought I decided too early and that's the main part.
"I really can't say what I'm looking for. I want to see my worth and what else is out there. Other things went into it. My parents and I have some doubt about some things but we still love Louisville and we want them to recruit me. We'll see what else is good."
Martin, a 6-foot-6 small forward with a sweet shooting touch, said he doesn't favor anyone and wants to see what options are available to him. He said Rick Pitino is going to continue recruiting him through the summer.
"He said he wasn't mad at all," Martin said. "He said he understood and he asked if we wanted to be recruited by him and he said he'll follow me closely this summer. He said he really understood."
Expect much interest to come Martin's way, regionally and nationally.
"I'm open to anybody. I want what's best for me and my mom and dad and other people that are big parts in my life. If it's Louisville, then its Louisville."
