Josh Smith, 6-9 C Kent (Wash.) Kentwood. Smith was a force inside for Seattle Rotary Saturday night. He has good timing as a shot-blocker as he's learned to just keep his hands high and wait for the opposing player to commit. He's not yet where he was last July, when he was dominating at times. But he's a space-eater and changes the game when he's in the paint.
Stephen Holt, 6-3 PG Portland (Ore.) Jesuit. Shot wasn't dropping Saturday, but showed off his deceptive quickness several times when he blew by defenders to get to the rim.
Terrence Jones, 6-7 PF Portland (Ore.) Jefferson. Competed very well in game against Seattle Rotary. Over-handles the ball at times on the perimeter – much better when he gets in the paint and uses his size to better effect.
Joe Harris, 6-4 SG Chelan (Wash.) High. Can really shoot it to the stripe and played with toughness in a semifinal win on Saturday.
Tony Wroten, 6-4 PG Seattle (Wash.) Garfield. Was hurt late in the game Saturday on a drive to the basket, but it didn't appear to be anything serious. At his best when he's finding teammates in transition. Great vision and passing ability.
