Triple S: Day Two Rundown

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The carryover from Reebok to the Triple S has occurred for junior guard Tyrone Johnson. He's had a good run the first half this month.

Jalen Steele, SG, Tenn. Travelers: One of those guys who is being evaluated closely. At month's end, we think he'll settle into a mid-level recruitment. Makes shots and ready to have biggest impact in a league centered around mid-level players.

Brennan Wyatt, PG, Mid-State: Sub-six-footer knows how to do one thing: win. With the game on the line he spread the floor and drove his guy for buckets. He had a pair of game-winners on Wednesday. A super student, should receive Patriot and Ivy interest and offers.

Antonio Jenifer, F, God's Glory: Could be a major player at an A-10 level program. Jump shot is good from perimeter. Beginning to act like leader on the floor. Probably 6-6 but a good basketball player with a competitive motor.

Tyrone Johnson, PG, NJ Elite: The carryover from Reebok Camp has happened. He walloped Jonny Flynn's team for 25 points and they couldn't guard him. Attacks to the rim went unchecked. He's developing into a high-major guard. If he can shoot it consistently the pieces would be in place. Right now he's getting to the rim effortlessly and using a strong body to finish people off. The big question remains. Will he give up football for hoops?

Tyler Olander, PF, Expressions: Like him more each time we see him. Lefty has active body and definite ability to step out. He can face and get loose in the paint. Going to wind up with solid high-major interest and offers very soon.

Dajaun Coleman, C, Westchester Hawks: When he wants, he can't be slowed down inside. He's got a Zach Randolph type game with the ability to punish people. He's got such great size you tend to forget he's a freshman. Will likely develop into a dominant force with great touch and effectiveness around the hoop.
