Big Ten Program Picks Up McCabe

Zach McCabe is set for the Big Ten. He made a commitment Friday afternoon.

Todd Lickliter and Iowa have spent a considerable amount of time recruiting Sioux City (Iowa) Bishop Heelan Catholic standout Zach McCabe.

On Friday all the hard work paid off, as McCabe, a 6-foot-6 combo forward, gave the Hawkeyes a verbal commitment.

"I picked Iowa because I am a big Hawk fan and I believe that Iowa is heading in the right direction with coach Lickliter," McCabe said. "I want to help do that and help win."

McCabe is the Hawkeyes fourth commitment in the 2010 class. Roy Marble, Ben Brust and Cody Larson round out the four man group.
