Behanan's uncle, Bill Jackson, has been tasked with guiding Chane through the process of making his second commitment. "I made a courtesy call of the University of Cincinnati and talked to Coach Stubblefield personally," Jackson said. "Cincinnati is his first choice but he's got a right to talk anyone and that shouldn't be taken away from him right now."
Behanan's turned over the responsibility of making the announcement to Jackson and the uncle made it clear: the Bearcats are in but will have to go through the process again.
"He's really not wanting to talk about it much. He did formally announce that he was re-opening his recruiting. Cincinnati is on top of his list. There is no other school right now that is being considered. The recruitment is being opened up.
Jackson said he anticipates lots of looks coming Behanan's way next month. "There is no other school right now that is being considered. The recruitment is being opened up."
Behanan is a 6-foot-6 power forward and native of Cincinnati. He will attend Bowling Green High near the campus of Western Kentucky where he is a member of the Class of 2011.
