2010 Shooter Picks ACC Squad

Brady Heslip ended his recruitment on Sunday. The 6-foot-2 shooting guard committed to an ACC program shortly after his visit.

Brady Heslip emerged as a high major shooter playing with Grassroots Canada during July and it didn't long for someone to scoop him up.

Heslip, a standout at Burlington (Ontario) Nelson, committed to Al Skinner and his staff at Boston College shortly after he visited their campus.

"I just loved it there," Heslip told Scout.com. "I love the coaches, the facilities and I love the city of Boston too."

Heslip picked up scholarship offers from Cincinnati, Utah State, Georgetown and Fairfield and also entertained interest from UCLA and Gonzaga, but he opted for B.C. because it felt like the right fit.

"I went on an unofficial visit to UCLA and after that I visited Boston College and I just knew I didn't need to visit anymore colleges," Heslip said. "The coaches were awesome the place is amazing and the situation will be great for me at Boston College as a freshman."

"I've been talking to coach Duquette the most and he's been real good to me," he said. "I'm really looking forward to playing for him and coach Skinner at Boston College."

Boston College now holds a pair of commitments for the 2010 class. Heslip joins Minneapolis (Minn.) Minnesota Transitions Charter standout Kevin Noreen.
