Mike Cook Update

Mike Cook of New Hampton remains one of the better natural unsigned scorers in the prep school ranks. Right now, colleges are still evaluating him.

March Will Be Visit Month

Like his teammate Femi Ibikunle, New Hampton's Mike Cook is focusing in on his season at hand and allowing his recruitment to progress slowly.

"He's sort of taking it all in," New Hampton coach Jamie Arsenault said. "Right now, there's no clear-cut favorites in Mike's eyes. He's just taking it all in. A lot of people are watching."

Penn State, Marquette, Wichita State, East Carolina and West Virginia have expressed interest in Cook who is averaging 23 points a game in a combo guard-forward role.

Cook made a positive impression on recruiters during the November War on the Shore in Milford, Del. "He's been better than that," Arsenault said. "We played at Brewster and he had a tremendous game up there. He had 35 points against them." Arsenault said that Cook made 5-of-6 3s in that contest.
