Stringer Has Four Left, Begins Visit Process

Andre Stringer recently narrowed his list and he's begun taking college visits. Scout.com caught up with the talented point guard to get the scoop on his recruitment.

Andre Stringer is taking a close look at his recruitment.

Recently the 5-foot-10, 170-pound floor general cut his list of schools down to four -- Alabama, USC, LSU and Miami. And he began his official visits this past weekend by visit USC.

"It was real nice," Stringer said of the trip. "The visit went real good. I feel good about how they are recruiting me and I think it's a good situation. But I still don't know what I"m going to do yet."

The Jackson (Miss.) Forest Hill standout also has an official visit set up for September 19th with LSU. Then in October he'll head to Alabama, but an exact date hasn't been set.

Stringer is also planning in-home visits. Thus far USC is scheduled for September 10th, while Alabama will swing by on the 14th.

"I'm probably going to make my decision during the first signing period in November," Stringer told Scout.com. "I don't want to go through the season worrying about college coaches. I want to be focused."
