Clark Keeps 'Em In The Dark

Every weekend guys are getting on planes, making official visits. Cameron Clark, a small forward out of Sherman (Tex.) isn't quite ready to commit to his visits.

What kind of coach is going to catch Cameron Clark's eye? How do they go about doing it?

"I'm a laid back dude, I don't really say too much," Clark told "I need a coach who is going to bring it out of me. Somebody who is going to work with me so I can get better."

Clark, a 6-foot-6 small forward out of Sherman (Tex.) High, is ranked No. 30 in the nation by He's one of the top players in the country who hasn't set an official visit date yet.

For Clark, the process isn't at warp speed. He'll decide on a school when his gut tells him he's got the correct one. "You just know what it comes around," Clark said. "You'll have a good feel for (the head coach)."

Oklahoma is the first school to knock on his day. The Sooners are in town Wednesday. Arkansas is front and center on Thursday, Marquette on Sunday and Oklahoma State checks in sometime very soon.

"I might do Kentucky and Kansas (in-homes) but I don't know when."

Clark indicated that he plans on taking official visits, but hadn't begun setting them up to date and wasn't sure exactly which schools he would officially visit.

What will be important? "It'll be a feel for the coach and the style of play."
