Sun Devils Get A King

After taking a number of unofficial visits, Keala King felt he found the right fit. He committed to a PAC-10 school during an in-home visit.

In late August, Keala King, of Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei, narrowed his list of schools and claimed a top three of Arizona, Stanford and Arizona State.

On Wednesday, the 6-foot-4 wing had an in-home visit with Arizona State and he committed to Herb Sendek during the visit.

"I've been talking to the Arizona State coaches all summer," King told Devils Digest. "The more I talked to them, the more comfortable I was. I also really liked the unofficial visit I had there in the summer."

"I told the coaches that I will gave them an answer tonight, and I committed because that was the best situation for me. I couldn't see myself anywhere else."

With King's commitment, ASU how holds a pair of verbal pledges in the 2010 class. King joins Goodyear (Ariz.) Estrella Foothills standout Corey Hawkins to make up their current class.

King, who is a four-star prospect, is ranked No. 13 at the small forward spot and No. 65 overall in the 2010 rankings.
