Young Commits To Big East Program

Brandon Young goes down to a Big East program. He committed on Sunday.

Brandon Young ended his recruitment early Sunday morning.

The Washington (D.C.) Edison-Friendship standout took an official visit to DePaul this past weekend and he committed to Jerry Wainwright and his staff before leaving campus.

"It was a great experience," Young told Scout.com. "I felt comfortable with everybody down there. I loved the visit."

UMass, Marquette, Georgetown, South Florida and Miami were just a few of the schools that were also pursuing the 6-foot-3, 175-pound guard, but it was the coaching staff at DePaul that really stood out to Young.

"The people around the program, they want to get me better and they want to get everybody better. I just wanted to be around good people."

Young is DePaul's first 2010 commitment.
