Clark Decides Its Sooner Than Later

The way Cameron Clark sees recruiting, when you know, you know. On Sunday, after returning from Oklahoma, Clark ended his process.

Cameron Clark went from taking it slow to committed pretty quickly. Just a few weeks ago he wasn't thinking about visits and now, after a weekend visit to Oklahoma, he's a Sooner.

"It was long and too many phone calls," Clark said of the process. "I kind of new where I wanted to go, so that was the main the thing. It just felt right. It felt like the right situation to be in; that was the main thing."

The 6-foot-6 small forward out of Sherman (Tex.) High is Scout.com's No. 30 prospect in the Class of 2010. He trimmed his list to Oklahoma State, Marquette and Florida International.

Clark was on campus with Top 50 prospects Ray McCallum and Trey Zeigler. "Ray called me and said congratulations," Clark said.

Oklahoma was on Clark early and with enthusiasm. In the end, it paid off. "They were there this summer. They came into the school and spent a lot of time with me."

Clark is the 6th Top 50 prospect to sign with Oklahoma under Capel's watch.
