Morgan Dials Up Big East Program

Moses Morgan ended his recruitment on Tuesday. The Las Vegas wing pulled the trigger for a Big East program.

The DePaul Blue Demons scored their second commitment this week. Jerry Wainright went east coast for Brandon Young and now he's gone out west for Moses Morgan.

The 6-foot-5 small forward out of Las Vegas (Nev.) Palo Verde, according to I-Can coach Rock Johnson, is headed to play in the Big East.

"I think he's one of the most under rated shooting guards in the country," Johnson told Scout.com. "Every game he played from Milwaukee to Vegas to Arizona he had a lot of coaches watching him. He had a strong summer and this is an ideal situation for him. He can help bring DePaul out of the cellar and it's a great opportunity."

Morgan averaged 17.5 points and seven rebounds for 24-6 Palo Verde who advanced to the state title game during his junior year. Texas Tech, Arizona State and Indiana were interested. Morgan visited Bloomington earlier this month.

"He can really come in and shoot the ball for them. This was the best opportunity for him to play."
