"Tonight we sat down as a family and discussed all the schools that were recruiting Josh," Witherspoon said. "We evaluated every school in depth and composed a list of schools we wanted to further explore."
Selby, who recently transferred to Baltimore (Md.) Lake Clifton, decommitted from Tennessee during July and has since built quite a list of schools. At this point no visits have been set.
"No [we haven't set any up] because we wanted to get this part of the process done first so Josh can build relationships with the coaching staff," Witherspoon told Scout.com.
While they made a quick decision the first time around, the plan is to wait until the spring for a decision this time around.
"We aren't rushing," she added. "We rushed the first time. I want us to take our time, watch the teams play. I'm not worried about who is coming in. It's going to be about who can win and who can help Josh get better as a player."
Selby is ranked No. 10 overall and as the No. 3 point guard on Scout.com.
