Prather Sets Decision Date, Down To Two

Casey Prather, a highly regarded small forward, has narrowed his list to two and is set to publicly announce his decision soon.

Casey Prather has a good idea of where he'll attend college, but he's not letting it out until Wednesday.

"I pretty much know where I'm going," the 6-foot-5, 180-pound wing told Scout.com.

"I plan on making a decision this coming Wednesday," Prather said. "I'm down to Florida and Michigan."

Prather visited Florida and Michigan on consecutive weekends in mid-October. The Jackson (Tenn.) North Side standout came away from those trips with positive vibes on both schools.

"I like coach Donovan," he said when asked about Florida. "I like the campus and I like how everyone there wins. I like the way they play and their player development. There's quite a bit I like about Florida."

"I like the coaching staff," he said about Michigan. "I like the defensive system that they run and there shooting. I like their campus and their academics too. I like the plan that they have for me."

So how will Prather go about making his final decision?

"I'm just going to go based on how I feel," he said. "I'm going to pick the school that I have the best feel for."

Prather, a four-star prospect, is ranked No. 55 overall in Scout.com's top 100.
