Prather Settles On Decision

Casey Prather took a handful of official visits, narrowed his list of schools and now has made his college decision.

Casey Prather ended the speculation late Tuesday night.

After narrowing his list of schools to Florida and Michigan, the Jackson (Tenn.) North Side product opted to head south for play his college basketball.

"I'm going to Florida," Prather told

Prather, a 6-foot-5, 180-pound small forward, previously talked at length about the Gators and what they have to offer.

"I like coach Donovan," he said. "I like the campus and I like how everyone there wins. I like the way they play and their player development. There's quite a bit I like about Florida."

Prather becomes Florida's second verbal commitment in the 2010 class. He joins four-star prospect Patric Young.
