Lulane Looking At Four, Has One Visit To Go

Cady Lulane has a variety of interest from college programs. He's managed to get that list down to four and is closing in on his final official visit.

Cady Lulane has settled on four schools.

"It's going well," he said of his recruitment. "Right now I just narrowed down my list to Ole Miss, Georgia, VCU and UMass."

Already the 6-foot-8, 210-pound power forward out of Orlando (Fla.) Oak Ridge has taken visits to Georgia, VCU and Massachusetts. Andy Kennedy and his staff at Mississippi will get their crack this coming weekend.

Lulance, a three-star prospect, broke down his previous three visits.

VCU: "It was good. I liked it a lot because coach [Shaka] Smart has them boys working. In practice they were going at it arguing, fighting for the ball and diving on the floor. It was intense."

Georgia: "It was nice. Coach [Mark] Fox works with the post and the bigs. He's got the bigs doing guard stuff, so it's an all around practice and I really liked that a lot."

UMass: "It was the same thing as VCU. The players were working really hard. Coach [Derek] Kellogg has them boys working."

After his final official visit, Lulane will likely sit down with his high school coach, Derek Heard, and discuss how to close out the process. To date, Lulane isn't sure if he wants to sign in the early signing period.

"Right now I don't really know," he said. "Me and my coach haven't really sat down and talked about when I will sign, so as of right now I really don't know."
