2004 Spotlight: Charles Bronson

Charles Bronson would have been a pretty popular guy next month had he been a senior. However, the big man was recently reclassified as a junior so he'll be available for a fall 2004 arrival.

Bronson Now A Junior

Charles Bronson was on target to receive a number of serious looks from schools this month and next. However, the 6-10 Philly Lutheran standout is no longer on the board so to speak. He's been reclassified and now should be viewed as a member of the Class of 2004.

"It's official now," Bronson said. "This is my senior year and I'm going to do a post grad year."

Bronson has been averaging 17 points and 8 rebounds a game for Lutheran. "They have us ranked 10th in the country in prep schools. I played really well at the tournament in Virginia Beach.

Bronson's season ends March 1 but he doesn't envision much of a rest. He's looking to get into the NBA Players Association Camp and possibly ABCD and will run with the Sam Rines All-Stars this spring and summer.

In the last few months, Bronson has seen interest in him increase. Ohio State, Marquette, DePaul, St. Joe's, George Washington, Bowling Green, Penn State, Rider, Virginia Commonwealth, Coppin State, Duquesne and Buffalo have shown interest.
