Guyn, a standout at Georgetown (Ky.) Scott County, originally committed to Charlotte. But a few weeks back the 6-foot-2 combo guard opted to reopen his recruitment.
"The recruiting process is going well," Guyn told Scout.com. "There are a bunch of schools calling and looking to offer me a scholarship."
Among the schools that have made contact with Guyn since his decommitment are South Florida, Indiana, WKU, Tennessee, Texas, Cincinnati, Hawaii, Mississippi State, Alabama, Ball State, Northwestern and Georgia Tech.
"Schools are beginning to come down to open gyms and stuff," he said. "A bunch of the schools are saying they want to come to my games this year because they didn't get to see me during AAU because I was committed. They are all real interested."
Guyn was scheduled to visit Indiana for their midnight madness, but it conflicted with a practice at Scott County so he was forced to stay home.
Since reopening his recruitment, Guyn said he's had a lot on his plate.
"It's been tough," he said. "I'm looking to be a bit more humble and patient this time around. I'm talking everything over with my parents and evaluating the schools. I'm just listening to what the schools have to say and hope to take some visits soon."
