Tarik Black is one of just a few remaining uncommitted power forwards in Scout.com's top 100. The big man is looking at five schools and may be pushing his decision to the fall.
It appears Memphis (Tenn.) Ridgeway standout Tarik Black
may wait until the spring to make his college decision.
"Right now he's saying that he's going to make a decision late," Tarik's mother, Judith, told Scout.com.
According to her, Black, a 6-foot-8, 230-pound power forward is looking at five schools -- Tennessee, Florida, Marquette, Alabama and Memphis. All five schools have offered a scholarship.
"He's taken two [visits] so far," Judith Black said. " He's been to Marquette and he's been Alabama. He's looking to go to the University of Tennessee, Florida and Memphis."
Of the top 30 power forwards in the 2010 class, Black, a four-star prospect, is one of just six available players.
