Odom Now Headed To SEC

Rod Odom made a big decision Sunday evening. The three-star forward decommitted from Arizona and then made a verbal commitment to a SEC program.

After decommitting from Sean Miller's program at Arizona, the 6-foot-8 forward turned around and gave Kevin Stalling's and his staff at Vanderbilt a verbal commitment.

Sources close to the situation confirmed the news early Monday morning. The decision was based solely on academics.

Odom originally committed to Arizona during the first week of October. Just three weeks later he made the switch will now play his college basketball in Nashville (Tenn.).

Odom now joins Josh Henderson and Kyle Fuller to make up Vanderbilt's current 2010 recruiting class.
