N.C. State Adds 2012 Center

The N.C. State Wolfpack dipped into the Class of 2012 this week and added a center out of the Oak Ridge Military School.

The North Carolina State Wolfpack added a new piece to their 2012 recruiting puzzle. Joseph Uchebo, a 6-foot-9 center out of Oak Ridge (N.C.) Oak Ridge Military committed to the Pack this week.

"I think he did it on Monday, he verballed to N.C. State," Oak Ridge coach Stan Kowalewski told Scout.com.

Uchebo missed action last week with an ankle injury.

Uchebo was at Mount Zion in Durham and Victory Christian (Conyers, Ga.) last year. It was his first year in the United States and he's Nigerian born.

"He's been down to N.C. State practices twice. He's got some family members and an aunt who lives right there in the Durham area."

Uchebo has wide shoulders and is a long bodied center. His post offense is elementary but he does sport a drop step. He runs and rebounds with intensity. Physically, he's a specimen. He's expected to be back in action for Oak Ridge in the near future.
