No false alarm this time, it's the read deal. Bishop Loughlin power forward Jayvaughn Pinkston will commit on Thursday.
One of the key unsigned pieces in the national puzzle is about to be set into place. Jayvaughn Pinkston
, Scout.com's No. 35 prospect, will make his decision on Thursday.
"It'll be tomorrow at about noon," New Heights coach Kimani Young told Scout.com. "It's not anything big, but he'll call the coach and get it out to the media."
St. John's, Connecticut, West Virginia and Villanova are on the list. One can surmise that the choice is not Tennessee, which signed New Yorker Tobias Harris early.
Young said Pinkston was ready to make the decision. "I think he wanted to get it over with and concentrate on having a good season. The league is wide open and his heart is set on it so why wait."
The likely choice here is Villanova as that's the behind-the-scenes chatter.
