Randolph Has Six Offers

A strong summer led to a high major recruitment for Levi Randolph. The talented guard currently holds six scholarship offers.

Playing with the Nashville Celtics during the spring and summer helped put Levi Randolph on the map.

"I think it went good," he said of the summer. "I'm getting a lot of schools contacting me right now, so I think I've played pretty good to get to this point."

Randolph, a 6-foot-4 shooting guard out of Madison (Ala.) Bob Jones, currently holds scholarship offers from Baylor, Miami, Georgia, Vanderbilt, Alabama and Auburn, while Florida and Wake Forest are showing interest.

"It's still really early," Randolph, a four-star prospect, said about his recruitment. "Everything is still up in the air."

Up to this point, Randolph has taken just one unofficial visit.

"I've been to Alabama," Randolph said. "It was nice. I went to a football game. The fans there really love Alabama. I like the coaching staff pretty well. They care about their players."

Randolph, who isn't claiming a leader at this time, said that he'd like to take a few more unofficial visits, but nothing is scheduled at this tie.

"I've been thinking about going one some other unofficial visits, but I'm not sure yet," he said. "I want to visit as many as I can right now."

Randolph started his junior season and in his most recent game went for 21 points in a close lose to Dora.

"Right now we are 2-2 and we are doing pretty good," Randolph said. "I'm playing OK. We've been winning, so I guess I'm doing something right."

Randolph is currently ranked No. 10 at the shooting guard spot and No. 50 overall in the 2011 class.
