Robinson On Some He'd Like To Visit

Russell Robinson knows how to score and because of that, high-major programs know where to find him. Robinson scored 19 in a loss to St. Patrick at the Prime Time Shootout.

Guard Has Definite Visit List

Russell Robinson shot 21 free throws in a game last December. He's had games this year where he's gotten to the line 15 times or more. The guy has a knack for getting fouled.

"Once we get into the bonus, I like to draw fouls and get to the line," Robinson said. He's averaging 18.6 points a game this season. On Sunday, he dropped 19 in a loss to St. Patrick.

Robinson, in our opinion is a shooting guard. He's such a gifted scorer, it would almost be tragic to ask him to do anything else. Still, schools are recruiting him as a combo. "Most of them are recruiting me as a combo. They want me to play point if I had to."

So far this year, head coaches from Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Louisville, St. John's and Villanova have been in to see him. "I think I'll decide after the summer."

Robinson did say that he would like to take some spring visits. He would definitely like to visit Villanova, St. John's, Georgia Tech and Kentucky.

He takes the SAT for the first time on April 7.
