Singletary Is A Two-Sport Star

Penn Charter point guard Sean Singletary is turning into a fine player. Here's an update on his season, his recruitment and where things stand.

Singletary Is A Two-Sport Star

Sean Singletary is a good looking prospect. He's strong, smart and athletic. On the football field, he's a talented Division I wideout. On the hardwood he's a leader at the point guard slot for Penn Charter.

So, where will it lead him down the road? "Right now I'm leaning towards basketball," Singletary said. Virginia, Texas, North Carolina State, West Virginia, Vanderbilt, Rutgers, Seton Hal and Missouri are keeping tabs on him. Singletary also carries a 3.0 GPA.

Last Saturday at the Prime Time Shootout, he had 17 points and 5 assists in a win over Lake Clifton. Singletary said that he's averaging 22 points and 7 dimes a game. He told us that two weeks ago he recorded 15 assists in one game.

"I want to play where I can play against the best and get better," Singletary says.

He'll have that chance.
