Paterson Catholic's Darryl Watkins showed well at the Prime Time Shootout. Behind the scenes, the concerns of college recruiters were that he often times didn't perform up to his capabilities.
Well, he showed very well during his two games at the Prime Time. In his first game scored 17 points but wasn't much of a factor on the glass. Then, against Oak Hill, he really got after it. He tallied 23 points, 9 boards and blocked some shots against good size.
Here's a look at his best game -- the Oak Hill effort -- from the 2003 Prime Time. Keep in mind schools like Kentucky, North Carolina, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Villanova and Syracuse are chasing him. Syracuse assistant Troy Weaver, UNC's Matt Doherty and Rutgers' Gary Waters watched his Sunday game in Trenton.
