The Southern Kings AAU program continues to kick out talent. To go with their star studded 2011 class, they've got a handful of prospects in the 2012 class, which includes 6-foot-8 big man Justin Touye.
is the 2012 prospect you hear about the most when talking about the Southern Kings AAU program in Georgia. But there's another big man from the same program that is creating opportunities for himself.
Justin Tuoyo, a 6-foot-8 big man out of Lovejoy (Ga.) High, first caught our eye in late July during the Las Vegas tournaments. Now, he's averaging right around a double-double as just a sophomore in high school.
"I feel like I've really improved," Tuoyo said. "My offensive game has gotten better and I've gotten stronger too. I've been moving around and keeping my conditioning up and my body is better."
The improved game has led to interest from college programs. His first two scholarship offers rolled in last week from Clemson and Northwestern. Florida State and Georgia have also made contact.
"I really enjoy it," he said of his recruitment. "It makes me play better. Now since I've worked and I've seen my recruitment take off it makes me really get out there and play more aggressive and everything."
Shortly after picking up his offer from Clemson, Tuoyo visited the South Carolina school, taking in their game on Wednesday against North Carolina.
