And while the attention mounts and they continue to overshadow teammates, La Verne (Calif.) Lutheran head coach Eric Cooper Sr. said that neither is currently the team's best player.
According to the elder Cooper, C.J. Cooper, who is averaging 17.4 points and 6.2 assists per game, is the guy that team relies on most.
"C.J. is probably our best player at this point," Cooper told Scout.com. "He's the guy that carries us. But the guys that get the most publicity is Grant and Eric."
"He's the guy that leads us," he added. "Grant would have a big game, Eric will lead us in assists, but C.J. is our best player right now."
Although he isn't receiving the same type of attention as Jerrett and Cooper Jr, the 5-foot-11 guard has scored some college interest.
"His is spotty," the Lutheran coach said. "He's been offered by three schools – Montana State, SMU and San Diego State. Those are the three that have offered and he's just a junior, so hopefully he'll be talking to a lot more."
C.J. is also being heavily recruited by UNLV. He's taken a visit to the Las Vegas school, and he's taken an unofficial visit to San Diego.
