Caudill Lining Up Visits

Kyle Caudill, a junior center out of Southern California, has several Pac-10 schools involved in his recruitment, along with a couple high majors from outside the west...

Kyle Caudill, 6-10 JR C Brea (Calif.) High, is one of the elite post prospects in the West Coast class of 2011. A space-eater with solid overall skills and a good feel for the game, Caudill is a true low-post center with the ability to score with either hand around the basket.

I spoke with Caudill recently and he gave me an update on the schools he has been hearing from lately.

"Stanford and Cal came down to see me last week," Caudill said. "Oregon State has been showing a lot of interest. Notre Dame wants me to go out there in April for their Blue/Gold football scrimmage. I'm also hearing from Wake Forest and I'm still very interested in Arizona State."

I asked Caudill if he has any visits lined up in the near future.

"I'm going up to Cal this weekend for their game against Washington State," said Caudill. "In March, I'm going up to Oregon State and on the drive back down I'm going to visit Stanford."

Caudill made a commitment last year to Arizona State, but then changed his mind and opened up his recruitment. He says he won't be making a commitment any time soon.

"I'm going to wait until my senior year to decide," said Caudill.
