Big List For Porch
Antonio Porch, 6-6 SR SF Denver (Col.) East, is long and lean, with a considerable upside. He had a disappointing summer, but showed very well in December in Las Vegas. We spoke with Porch yesterday and he told us that his current list consists of UMass, UTEP, Denver, Portland, Northridge, Irvine and Northwestern. He hasn't yet taken any trips, but said he hopes to visit UMass, Northridge, Portland and UTEP. We asked if location is an issue and Porch replied, "I'd like for my family to be able to see me play. If I go far away, I'll have to feel real comfortable with the coaches and players." Porch told us that he feels very comfortable with one school in particular. "I talk with the Northridge staff the most -- they're the coolest staff." Porch hopes to reach a decision in April. He said that qualifying will not be an issue for him.
