Dilik Gets Calls

Ozi Dilik made a move mid-season and has drawn interest from a few college programs.

Although Justin Coleman and Gorgui Dieng have been the guys getting the attention at Huntington (W.V.) Prep, they picked up a senior guard mid-season that has garnered phone calls.

Since arriving from Arlington Country Day midway through the year, Ozi Dilik, a native of Turkey, has proven to be a load to handle on the offensive end.

"He's very good offensively," Fulford told Scout.com. "He can shoot the three. He can get to the basket. He's strong and he can finish around the rim. He's not overly athletic, but athletic enough where he can beat his man.

"He's a very good pick and roll player," Fulford added. "He can come off and create for teammates and if they go under he can shoot the three. That's problem his strongest suit, the pick and roll. With the European mentality, he's used to it."

A big guard that stands 6-foot-3, possibly 6-foot-4, Dilik, has had an in-state school come to see him and a handful of other schools call to gain more information.

"Arkansas, West Virginia and UCLA have all called about him and West Virginia showed up to watch him," Fulford said. "Marquette is calling now too."
