Georgetown Closes Strong

Georgetown scored their fourth and final recruit. Moses Abraham gave the Big East program a pledge shortly after his visit to Indiana.

Georgetown closed out their 2010 recruiting class on Thursday.

After scoring underrated wing talent Aaron Bowen a few weeks back, John Thompson and his staff picked up a big commitment from 6-foot-9, 230-pound big man Moses Abraham.

"I think it's a good program and I think it'll help make me better if I go there," Abraham told

Abraham also strongly considered Indiana, and even took an official visit to see Tom Crean's program this week. A number of other schools were in the mix at one time, including Maryland and Tennessee.

"Ever since I first came to the states he showed interest in me and showed me things," Abraham said of John Thompson. "I think he's a good coach and I liked him a lot and I respect him."

Bowen and Abraham close out what appears to be a strong recruiting class for the Hoyas, who also have top 50 recruit Nate Lubick and talented lead guard Markel Starks in the fold.

Georgetown assistant coach David Cox was the point man on Abraham's recruitment.
