But the talented 6-foot-2 guard is closing in on his announcement date. The Baltimore (Md.) Lake Clifton standout will make his decision public during the Jordan All-American game on April 17th in Madison Square Garden.
"I believe it's during halftime," Selby told Scout.com following a practice for the McDonald's All-American game.
In early March it was reported that Tennessee was back in the picture with the five-star prospect, but his mother – Maeshon Witherspoon – only listed four schools to Scout.com on March 10th. Now Selby said the Vols are back in the picture.
"I was committed to them," Selby said. "Bruce Pearl gave me a call and I talked to him for a little bit. I just decided to give them another chance."
"It's going well," he said of his recruitment. "I don't have any leading schools right now. Everyone is equal. I'm just giving everyone a chance right now.
As far as visits go, Selby said he may work in trips to Kentucky and/or Connecticut, but time is tight and he doesn't have anything schedule at this point.
