According to a source, Portland (Ore.) Jefferson wing Terrence Ross, a Top 40 national recruit, is a member of the Washington Huskies. He visited campus over the weekend and became a Husky.
"He doesn't want it out the bag, but he did sign a letter of intent with Washington today," the source told Scout.com. "He's going to announce it on Friday."
Ross began the year at Montrose Christian but then embarked on a zigzag journey back to the West Coast and Jefferson. The former 5-A player of the year did not play this season but has been working on his grades.
Multiple sources back east thought it would be tough for Ross to qualify but two independent sources this week gave Ross solid odds to make it.
"He's doing everything he possibly can to get it done," one source told Scout.com.
