Quentin Thomas, 6-2 JR PG Oakland (Calif.) Tech, told us yesterday that he's in no hurry to cut down his list of potential schools. "I'm pretty much open to everyone right now," said Thomas. "I still don't really have a list of schools." Thomas told us that Cal, Kansas and Oregon have been out to Oakland Tech games this season. Look for Thomas to hold off on a decision until sometime after the summer. "I haven't really started to think about it much yet. I haven't scheduled any official visits yet," said Thomas. "I did go to the Cal/Arizona game -- that was fun." We asked Thomas for his thoughts on possibly playing with Tech teammate Leon Powe in college. "If I get the chance, I'd love to play with him again," said Thomas. "But I won't make the decision based on him." Thomas offered a few thoughts on what he's looking for in a school. "Someplace where I'm comfortable and where I can be comfortable with the style of play. I'd love to go someplace where I can run and there are guys to run with me. Playing time right away isn't a big issue."
