Davis Will Take Visits Soon

Detroit Rogers Academy senior wing Byron Davis remains one of the top unsigned mid-major wingers. This week, Davis' focus is on the state playoffs.

Still Yet To Take A Visit

Byron Davis, a winger from Rogers Academy and the Michigan Hurricanes, ranks as one of the better mid-majors prospects available. This week, his Rogers Academy team plays in the state district playoffs.

Rogers Academy is 16-4.

Davis did not sign during the fall period and has yet to take an official visit. He says that his core grades are in good standing and that he's posted a qualifying ACT score. Among the interested schools are Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama, Wichita State, Kent State and a number of other MAC programs.

The unsigned senior said he would like to visit Wichita State, Middle Tennessee State, South Alabama and maybe Central Michigan or Kent State. "That'll probably be my five schools," Davis said. "I plan [to take visits] after the season is over."

"I just want to go where I can play."
