Junior Update: Todd Follmer
Todd Follmer, 6-11 JR C Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita, has a nice touch around the basket. He needs to play with a little more aggressiveness, but college coaches will be watching him this spring and summer. We spoke with Follmer last night and he told us that his current lists consists of Utah, San Diego, New Mexico, Colorado State and Navy. "Utah has been to my school a lot," said Follmer. "And Colorado St. and Navy have both been in contact a lot." Follmer is hearing primarily from schools in the west. "It'd be nice to stay close to home," said Follmer. Follmer talked a little about what he's looking for in a school. "I want to find out about the coaches and what kind of majors the schools have. I'll probably do something in math or science," said Follmer. "Early playing time isn't that big -- if I redshirt, that's ok." Look for Follmer to make a decision sometime early next fall. "I want to make it at the beginning of my senior year, before the season, so I can enjoy the year." Follmer told us that he's doing well academically and will have no trouble qualifying.
