Hoosiers Host Ewing On Visit
It's hard to imagine the son of the greatest Hoya of all time in anything but a Georgetown uniform. With that said …
"I'm calling to let you know that Patrick is taking his first official visit today," Sharon Campbell, Ewing's mother said. "We're at Indiana today."
So, the Hoosiers – a team that's been in search of a forward all year – get the first official opportunity to lure the forward to their campus. "We've had a couple of offers lately but I think Indiana is his biggest," Campbell said.
The mother of the prospect said that it's not out of the realm of possibility that her son commit on his visit. "I don't know what it would take [for him to commit] but I would like for him to look into some more schools still. I'd like him to look around and not take the first thing he sees. He can always say yes to Indiana later."
Miami has shown interest. We hear Virginia is still entertaining the thought of recruiting him and there's always the Hoyas. "I don't know what's going on with Georgetown. I've been told they want him but they haven't really approached him but I heard they have an offer sitting on the table if he wants it."
Regardless of what the rest of his list looks like, it's Indiana that stepped up to the plate and got him on campus this week and in our eyes that means Ewing is serious about a school other than Georgetown at this point.
