In fact the 6-foot-8, 205-pound power forward out of Oakland (Calif.) Bishop O'Dowd still has a number of schools on his list and he's yet to cut it down to a working group.
"I'm definitely starting to think more about it, but its still really early," Ashley told Scout.com. "I'm still trying to figure out what exactly my list is."
"I haven't really narrowed down my list yet and I don't exactly have a top five or seven schools that I'm really looking at. I'm probably going to start narrowing it down soon."
"I haven't planned any unofficials or anything," Ashley said. "I'm just letting it all play out."
"I'm just going to wait and see," he added. "Honestly I just have to see what schools are really on me and see who has been there since day one and see what is my best fit. Then I'll start narrowing down the list."
The 2012 prospect is coming off quite a summer, playing with the Oakland Soldiers. They were one of the most consistent teams in the Nike EYBL and they pulled off a championship in the Las Vegas.
"This summer was good," he said. "I definitely played up to my potential. I'm starting to get a lot stronger and getting better. I've adjusted my game to the next level of play and to playing up."
Ashley is currently rated as a five-star prospect and is rated the No. 5 overall prospects in the 2012 class.
