Cajuns' on Creighton Loss

SAN ANTONIO, Tex. - Louisiana-Lafayette players give their thoughts on the disappointing loss to Creighton on Friday afternoon (via ASAP Sports)

Bryant Mbamalu, G , Sr.

On the overall season …
"We've done some good things this season. We have a lot of young guys coming back. That's gonna be a fun journey next year and we're gonna have another opportunity to be in the mix next year. I'm grateful to be a part of this team this year and play with these guys."

On struggling to change the game dynamic …
"I was struggling the whole game. Shots I normally make weren't going in for me for some reason. That's just the luck of the draw. But the three, it felt good. I had another shot in the corner wide open that felt good as well, but it didn't fall for me. It's just the luck of the draw. I've had better days."

On ending his senior season …
"It is tough, but at the same time, you can't hang your head. I was able to do some good things in my career here this season and we were able to make it to the NCAA Tournament."

Eldridge Moore, F , Sr.

On the physical game …
"Yeah, I knew it was going to be a physical game, because it's the tournament. We were expecting a tough game and that's what it was."

Xavian Rimmer, G , Jr.

On struggling with defense …
"It kinda hurt. It was a big role for us. Playing offense and defense on the best player and come back on offense duty. You know, where we do best is scoring the ball. So, yea, it was kinda big for us."

On the game going UL-L's way early on …
"Yeah, it kinda went our way at a point in time, but we couldn't get enough stops and it's probably what cost us the game."
