Patterson to transfer out of Syracuse
The Syracuse news keeps pouring in. Ron Patterson, a sophomore guard at Syracuse, will transfer following the academic year, his AAU coach Chris Hawkins informed Scout. Patterson played 13.9 minutes a game this past season, averaging 2.6 points and 1.7 assists a game. A native of Indiana, Patterson finished his high school career at Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy. He was regarded as a three-star recruit when he opted for Syracuse in the 2013 recruiting class. The news comes just a day after Jim Boeheim announced he would retire after three seasons.
